2008 Meta Candy House half shirred JSK in Pink
New dress made from vintage batik fabric from Grandma. :) The pattern for the dress was from Stylish Dress Book: Wear with Freedom
dress made with simplicity 1084, from 1955
Another way to check which pattern pieces are which is to see what the outline looks like.
I checked all of the Otome no Sewing and they all have this feature. :)
If a pattern piece is missing, check to see if it’s a rectangle. You may need to draft it.
So if you are interested in sewing your own lolita clothes and can’t get a hold of the GLB you want, there is a relatively new mook that is exclusively patterns that are suitable for lolita and otome styles. The mook is titled 乙女のソ－イング/Otome no Sewing/Sewing Book of Girls. These can be purchase on YesAsia, Kinokuniya (got mine in store for about $19 a pop), as well as Amazon.jp and this etsy shop that has been recommended. Since I personally like to know what patterns are included in such mooks, I figured others would like to know too!
